Joint Sealing

Facade Joints	HIGH PERFORMANCE SEALANTS FOR FACADE JOINTS Tight joints are the key for durable and energy-saving facades. Today in facades despite of being made of concrete or other materials- joint sealing becomes more and more important. Elastic joint sealants are able to take the thermal movement from different materials and are therefore responsible for an air and water tightness of the facade.
Floor Joints	Highly Resistant Sealants for Floor Joints Joints in floors like in manufacturing industry and car parks are joints which are exposed to very high stress concerning mechanical resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical stress UV and movements.
Speciality Joints	Sealants for joints with Drinking Water Requirements In protecting one of our most important goods – water – it is necessary to use products which are tested to the different drinking water regulations in drinking water reservoirs.
General Sealants	Sikaflex® Construction Sikaflex-Construction is a one part, moisture curing, elastic joint sealant based on polyurethane. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications in hot and tropical climates.

 

Structural Bonding

Structural Strengthening	Prefabricated CFRP Plates For strengthening of concrete substrates, prefabricated Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) plates can be bonded on top of surface. Sika offers a wide range of CFRP plates in different dimensions an E-modulus.
Anchoring Adhesives	Sika AnchorFix®-1 Solvent- and styrene free based two part polyester anchoring adhesive.
Rigid Bonding	Concrete Elements For bonding of of large scale concrete segments during segmental bridge construction work, Sika can provide special epoxy adhesives. Additional applications for bonding concrete elements with Sikadur adhesives also occur in many other areas including roofs, concrete pipes, retaining walls and tanks etc.
Bonding Agents	Sikadur® Sikadur®, Hi-Mod, is a multi-purpose, 2-component, 100% solids, moisture-tolerant structural epoxy adhesive. It conforms to the current ASTM C-881, Types I, II, and V, Grade-2, Class C and AASHTO M-235 specifications.

 

Protective Coating

Concrete Protection	Hydrophobic Impregnations Hydrophobic impregnations help increase the durability of concrete structures by reducing the water uptake behavior and preventing the ingress of water dissolved contaminants such as chlorides. The aesthetic appearance of the concrete surface will not be changed.
Steel Protection	Sikagard® Sikagard is a one part water repellent impregnation for absorbent cementitious substrates. It penetrates well into the open pores of the substrate, providing a durable water repellency, while still allowing water vapour diffusion in both directions. Suitable for hot and tropical climates.
Fire Protection	Sikacrete® Cement-based pre-bagged, dry mix fire protection mortar for wet sprayed application especially in tunnel construction.
Tank Lining	Sikagard®-62 Sikagard-62 is a 2-pack solvent-free high build coating material based on epoxy resin.
